We spent most of the day in the shuttle bus going from Byron Bay to Brisbane, so nothing too exciting to report in this entry. Arriving at our hotel, we dropped off our bags, walked across the street to the Story Bridge Bar and grabbed a beer to cool down - reoccuring theme, yes.
Our hotel is located on Kangaroo Point in Brisbane, immediately next to the Story Bridge - it's an interesting area comprised of mostly condos/apartments, yet only one little market (very, very tiny) and one bar. We're still trying to figure out what Aussies do for food, unless they eat out every night? This bar seems to be the place to see and be seen, we both felt a little silly in our casual travel clothes. Oh wait, Steven didn't care so it was just Stephanie who felt a little underdressed.
We walked over the Story Bridge to Chinatown to grab some dinner and head home for an early evening.

Tourists are totally allowed to be underdressed.
I'm sure you get a pass on the attire.
