Noosa, Day 1

The morning did not start off to a great start as some construction guys decided 7am was a fabulous time to start cutting tiles and hammering away in the apartment directly next to ours. 7am?? really??? We figured it was a sign that we should just get an early start to the day. After some breakfast, we made some sandwiches, packed up a picnic, and headed off to the beach for some much-needed (insert eyeroll here) R&R.

Steven did some more body-surfing while Stephanie read a few more pages in her book.

The main street in town, Hastings Street, is where all of the posh shops and cafes are located.

Since we had packed our lunch, we figured we could splurge for some gelato after a rough few hours of laying on the beach. We went back to the grocery store, picked up some dinner, and repacked our bags for our side trip to Fraser the following day.
