We didn't want to fry on our first few days in the sun so we grabbed some lunch after a few hours, went back to the B&B to relax and do some laundry. Back to the beach in the afternoon where Steven enjoyed the water some more and Stephanie more sun time. We stopped at the local Woolworths (supermarket) for some dinner and barbequed with Sandra at night. Steven cooked in the dark as the sun had just gone down and the lights outside were not as cooperative as we would have liked. The mosquitos were out in force and of course Stephanie got a few bites, but they aren’t carrying Malaria at least. We ate dinner, talked with Sandra until 10pm, and then called it a night.

Byron Bay, Day 2
Woke up after sleeping in for the first time in a long time and had breakfast with Clinton, the B&B manager, and Sandra, another traveler that is staying here. The B&B is so peaceful and relaxing, designed after Balinese influences. We walked to the beach and it was beautiful. The sun was out, the beach wasn’t crowded, and the waves were breaking as well as we have ever seen. The waves weren’t big, 3-4 feet max, but they were formed perfectly. Steven went body surfing and had so much fun he felt like a kid again.
