Our flight didn’t depart until 7pm, so after we checked out of the hotel, we headed into town to have breakfast, catch up on internet, exchange some books, and relax by the lagoon.
The town is so small that we kept seeing people from our cruise – someone even joked and said we were on the Anaconda IV. Whoever was left in town was in the same position as us, trying to kill some time before leaving on a late flight.
We headed back to the small, funny, airport and arrived in Sydney about an hour and a half later. Fortunately, our hotel was close to the airport so it was a short taxi ride to a shower and bed.
