Brisbane, Day 2

We didn't read about too many things to do in Brisbane, so we thought we'd take it easy, soak up the city, and just walk around. Brisbane has an amazing ferry system that is incredibly cheap - for about $4 AUD, we were able to buy an all-day pass and cruise up and down the river. We walked into the main part of town and into Queen Street, a pedestrian-only street comprised of many stores that face the street, along with hidden multi-story malls in between.

Since we are not allowed to be spending money on frivolous things (i.e. clothes and shoes), Stephanie was somewhat depressed during this portion of the city. Especially since there seemed to be some interesting items to purchase...or from what she could see through the windows.

We took advantage of our ferry passes and spent the next few hours riding up and down the river.

Ended the day with a nice dinner at the Story Bridge Bar where, yet again, it was packed with people and hit the hay.
